Under the Clean Water Act there are four Tier 3 study areas in the County of Wellington which are in various stages of progress:

• Region of Waterloo (Cambridge) Tier 3 
• Guelph/Guelph Eramosa Tier 3
• Centre Wellington Scoped Tier 3
• Water Quantity
